Medicinal Science and Technology moves together to help paralysed patients. Researchers in UK are on the edge of creating a new technology that may help the affected patients to operate their bionic limbs with the help of transmitter brain implant. Wireless technology and tiny microprocessor are employed to sense the nerve impulses, decode them into signals and then transmit them to the limbs.
The idea and the technology existed before, but the means by which the actual decode impulse and the relay was real challenging. With the help of the new technology the microchips can recognize the impulses and help in decoding the signal.
When the technology is innovative and new, never expect it to arrive soon. Scientist and scholars from the University of Leicester, University of Newcastle and the Imperial College London are in the quest of developing this new technology.
